Bios

​ Wei Ren is a full Professor at the School of Computer Science, China University of Geosciences Wuhan, China since 2013. He was with Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Illinois Institute of Technology, USA in 2007 and 2008. He was with School of Computer Science, University of Nevada Las Vegas, USA in 2006 and 2007. He was with the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, in 2004 and 2005. He obtained Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from School of Computer Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2006. He published more than 150 refereed papers, 2 monographs, and 5 textbooks. He obtained 30 patents and 6 innovation awards. He is a Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation.
